FAQ

Why do you have password-protected areas on your website?

Our professional governing body requires that we have a veterinary client relationship with individuals before communicating certain information to them. These are the areas that require you to enter your client password.

How do I get my password?

If you are a client of our clinic, you may obtain your client password by calling our clinic directly at 905-856-6770. Our staff will confirm your association as a client and provide you with the password.

Is it possible to tour the facililty or to visit my pet while it is in your care?

Absolutely - yes. We have an open door policy during our regular hours. Visitors and tours are welcome, we are proud to show our facility and arrange tours for larger groups. It is a little like checking out the kitchen of a restaurant before you sit down to dine. You will want to see where your pet is going to stay and meet the people who will be caring for him.

So please call us to arrange for a time to come and meet us personally.

Why should I spay or neuter my pet?

The most important reason is to control the population of unwanted pets. You may be able to find homes for your puppies or kittens, however, the people that obtain your animals may have otherwise adopted and saved the life of an animal at the local humane society. There are many health benefits to neutering and spaying your pet as well. It will ensure that your pet will have a better chance to live it’s life to its full potential. Spaying before the first heat almost eliminates the risk of mammary tumors -breast cancer- while a high percentage of non-spayed female dogs will develop breast cancer and you can greatly reduce the chance of your male dog developing prostatic disease by neutering him at a young age. Spaying and neutering help to prevent all sex hormone related tumors, problems and sex hormone related undesirable behaviors, hyperactivity and aggression. Please feel free to contact us for further information on this subject.
